Learn-Develop & Grow Foundation
Founded on April 17, 2023, our foundation promotes financial literacy and personal development among youth and adults. Many people face financial insecurity due to limited knowledge about money management and personal growth. We aim to change this through education, workshops, and guidance.
Our mission is to inspire our community, encourage learning, and support individuals in becoming the best version of themselves. We focus on developing both Intelligence (IQ) and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) to shift mindsets and uplift our society.
A strong IQ helps people think critically and act responsibly, while a well-developed EQ improves emotional awareness and empathy. Together, these skills empower individuals to thrive, contributing to a healthier economy and community.
Financially literate citizens boost economic growth, increase income levels, and enable more effective government spending—leading to positive social outcomes.

Executive Director
I am a person who enjoys analyzing, leading, and especially managing with strategy. My extensive experience in various positions has helped me develop a wide range of skills.
My ability and desire to contribute to the education of Curaçao’s society have led me to the role I currently hold.
As a Person
I am goal-oriented and direct in expressing my opinions. The statements I make are well-balanced and usually supported by objective evidence. I am cheerful, punctual, accurate, spontaneous, and a strong team player who enjoys taking the lead.
As a Teacher
I have acquired not only the skill to stand confidently before a large group and lecture, but also the ability to motivate people, help them believe in themselves, and find the positive in every situation. This is especially important when working with clients—when people feel relaxed and trust you, it becomes easier to obtain reliable and useful information.
As a Finance Professional / Project Manager
I have gained substantial knowledge in auditing financial statements, bookkeeping, analyzing, and (re)writing procedures and guidelines. I’ve also developed the right work ethic: working accurately, meeting deadlines, and effectively tracking and leading people and projects.
I work with local companies, analyzing and interpreting financial statements using financial ratios and strategic management tools such as forecasting and budgeting. I revise their mission and vision, assess the economic landscape, and help maintain stability to compete locally and internationally while avoiding bankruptcy. I also report periodically to directors.
As an Entrepreneur
I have learned to analyze various scenarios and take financial risks to achieve profit. I identify commercial needs within the community, develop business ideas, and assume leadership in launching ventures. I communicate eloquently and objectively.
